Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage ED and inpatient holds with confidence and compassion
Maintain optimal patient ratios and acuity levels
Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency environment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
Advocate for patients during critical hold periods

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
Recent experience in ED hold or inpatient hold nursing
Completed Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency department holds
Strong inpatient hold management
Proficiency in high-acuity patient care
Excellent assessment and prioritization skills
