Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, rotating weeknight/weekend/holiday call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists during exciting minimally invasive procedures like biopsies, angioplasties, and catheter placements
Position patients precisely for optimal imaging in IR suites, CT, and US
Monitor procedural sedation ensuring patient safety and comfort
Collaborate across modalities to support physicians in life-changing interventions
Respond promptly to on-call needs, making a real difference around the clock

Qualifications

Active RN license
At least 2 years of experience, ideally in interventional radiology or similar
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Ability to pass Procedural Sedation competency and EKG exam

Education

RN licensure from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of IR procedures, equipment, and procedural sedation
Proficiency with EMR systems like Radnet, Merge Unity, and Cerner
Strong patient positioning and monitoring skills
Quick thinking for on-call scenarios
