Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab and provide safe, patient-centered care during procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol while maintaining patient safety
• Operate and assist with imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) to support complex cardiac procedures
• Document procedures accurately using Merge and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team
• Anticipate the needs of physicians and technologists during cases such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, and device implants
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment and supplies are procedure-ready
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and support resuscitation efforts using ACLS and BLS skills

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant cath lab or radiology tech experience as noted
• Proven experience circulating in a cardiac cath lab and providing moderate sedation
• Comfortable with advanced procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, Impella, ECMO, device implants)
• Familiarity with Merge documentation system preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT (R) registration required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC and RHC
• Experience supporting structural and electrophysiology procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP)
• Skill using Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Strong patient monitoring and sedation management
• Radiation safety and sterile field maintenance
• Accurate electronic documentation with Merge and clear communication with clinical teams
