Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient clinic care in a Trauma Level III setting
• Perform procedural duties including biopsies and bone marrow biopsies with strong procedural competency
• Oversee the infusion clinic operations that manage roughly 35–45 patients per day
• Manage patient admissions and coordinate care (typical admissions noted in facility census)
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate closely with RNs and MAs to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Complete required EMR modules and virtual training before your first clinical day
• Participate in credentialing and onboarding steps to ensure timely start of coverage

Qualifications

• Physician with demonstrated outpatient clinic and procedural experience
• Procedural competency with biopsies and bone marrow biopsy experience
• Experience providing oversight to infusion clinics or similar ambulatory infusion services
• Comfortable working in a Trauma Level III clinic environment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR (virtual training required prior to start)
• Willingness to work the specified Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
• Interest in permanent placement is a plus and should be disclosed in submission

Education

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of residency in an appropriate specialty

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Epic EMR workflows and documentation
• Strong procedural skills for outpatient biopsies and bone marrow procedures
• Operational oversight skills for infusion clinic flow and patient throughput
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and medical assistant staff
• Good clinical judgment for admissions and ambulatory case management
• Comfort working in a high-volume clinic environment
