Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment goals
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise and functional training programs
• Provide gait training and transfer training to improve patient mobility and safety
• Deliver family and patient education to support carryover and home safety
• Document all care accurately and promptly in Meditech Expanse
• Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP/Tech and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Support unit start-up activities and adapt workflows in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in weekend rotation and call requirements as scheduled

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with inpatient rehab, gait training, transfers, ADLs and Therex
• Comfort functioning independently and adapting to a fast-paced unit
• Unit start-up experience is a strong plus
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers and functional training
• Proficient with gait training techniques and therapeutic exercise (Therex)
• Strong patient and family education skills to support recovery
• Experience documenting in Meditech Expanse
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehab team
• Familiarity with typical IPR gym equipment such as balance and gait systems
