Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans that restore function and mobility
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
• Set measurable goals, document progress, and adjust plans to maximize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility electronic health record

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligible to obtain state licensure quickly
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Master’s/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Solid clinical experience in outpatient or rehab settings; strong musculoskeletal and neurological skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-focused environment
• Comfortable with electronic documentation and meeting productivity expectations for a contract assignment

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, differential diagnosis, and plan of care development
• Proficient with therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, and exercise prescription
• Experience with gait training, ADL retraining, and use of assistive devices
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and deliver efficient, high-quality care
