Roles & Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic evaluations and personalized treatment programs to help patients achieve their maximum performance potential
Design and administer therapeutic exercises and activities to boost strength, range of motion, and fine-motor skills
Consult on adaptive equipment, environmental design, and positioning to enhance patient independence
Maintain accurate patient records and reports while participating in meaningful home assessments
Deliver specialized therapy for neurological integration, sensor-motor skills, and visual perceptual-motor remediation
Instruct patients and families in self-care techniques, energy conservation, and safe transfer methods to promote long-term success
Administer prevocational programs to prepare patients for work settings, assessing organizational and cognitive abilities

Qualifications

Current valid WA state Occupational Therapist license (or in the process of obtaining), required
One year of experience preferred, but new grads welcome
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy

Education

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in diagnostic evaluations, treatment programs, therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, home assessments, and sensor-motor integration
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional materials, write reports, and present effectively
Mathematical proficiency with concepts like probability, fractions, percentages, and ratios
Exceptional reasoning to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions
