Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings to improve independence and quality of life
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on functional ability assessments
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document care clearly in the EMR
• Manage a diverse caseload with professional judgment and clinical expertise
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and safe functional techniques
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain compliance with California OT regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and basic computer systems
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and caseload management skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to continuous learning

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
