Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine studies and perform high-quality diagnostic scans following established protocols
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized equipment like dose calibrators and gamma cameras
Ensure a clean, organized work area and provide coverage as needed
Participate in teaching and instructional activities to support the team
Deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages in a rural community setting

Qualifications

Current Hawai'i license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current BLS/HCP certification
One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Education

Suitable for new graduates

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear medicine physics
Radiopharmaceutical administration
Safety protocols
Equipment operation including dose calibrator, gamma camera, survey meters, well counter, and thyroid uptake probe
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
