Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: AM Ambulatory shift, 4-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinical staff with patient intake, vital signs, and basic procedures
Prepare exam rooms and ensure a clean, safe ambulatory environment
Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
Support patient flow by coordinating with providers and front-desk staff
Educate patients on simple care instructions and next steps
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high-quality care standards

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred
Prior ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and patient-service skills
Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate/diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort taking vitals, performing basic clinical tasks, and rooming patients
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation
Knowledge of infection control and basic clinical safety practices
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a clinic setting
Friendly patient interaction and team collaboration skills
