Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert radiographic and sonographic exams across all body parts for accurate diagnostics
Apply radiation protection principles while exercising professional judgment
Perform mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic, stereotactic biopsy, and specimen radiography
Handle CT scans and interventional procedures with sterile technique and contrast management
Maintain patient records, quality assurance, and departmental hygiene
Assist in patient transfers, pursue continuing education, and step up in supervisory absence

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography
BLS certification within 45 days of start
Clinical Competency required within 3 months and every three years
Experience performing diagnostic exams in assigned modality
Willingness to take call and report within 20 minutes

Education

ARRT or ARDMS certification levels based on modalities (Tech I-IV)

Knowledge & Skills

Diagnostic medical radiography and sonography
Radiation protection and patient care across all ages
Mammography quality control and breast procedures
CT equipment care, invasive procedures, venipuncture goals
Sterile technique, tele-radiology, and contrast protocols
