Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, includes weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Communicate effectively with physicians about clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptoms
Provide patient and family education, guiding them through the recovery process
Collaborate with other nursing personnel to maintain high standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records

Qualifications

Current and valid LVN license in California
Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Previous acute care hospital experience
Current MAB/CPI certification
COVID-19 vaccination preferred
Ability to respond quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient assessment
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
Familiarity with EHR systems
