Location: Bismarck, ND

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Set up sterile fields and assist physicians during urology procedures
Place urinary catheters and provide patient education on catheter care
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures in clinic rooms and procedure rooms
Collaborate with a team of nurses, CSTs, and CNAs to manage up to 40 patients per day
Document patient information and ensure accurate charting

Qualifications

Active LPN/LVN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required (must be current)
Prior experience in a urology clinic or procedural area preferred
Must have experience setting up sterile fields and assisting with procedures
Ability to place catheters and provide related patient care
Cannot have worked as perm or PRN at any CHI St. Alexius facility in the last 12 months

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of urology conditions such as BPH, hematuria, UTI, and cystoscopy
Proficient in sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field
Skilled in catheter insertion and urinary catheter management
Ability to assist with prostate biopsies and other urologic procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinic environment
