Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly in the health record
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
Support patient education and communicate clearly with families
Contribute to a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment

Qualifications

Active LPN license (appropriate state licensure required)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain if required
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and adaptable to schedule needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; new grads may be considered depending on facility needs

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent completed

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Infection control practices and patient safety principles
Effective communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
