Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care as an LPN to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning when needed
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and uphold facility policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license in good standing (GA license preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Demonstrated clinical experience as an LPN; prior long-term care or hospital experience a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Education
- LPN diploma or equivalent from an accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care, vital signs monitoring, and patient assessment
- Familiarity with electronic charting and clinical documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team collaboration and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
