Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to walk-in clinic patients following established standards and your LPN scope of practice.
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinic staff to ensure smooth, compassionate care.
Perform patient triage and take vital signs accurately to prioritize care and escalate when appropriate.
Manage prescription refills and complete necessary prior authorizations in a timely manner.
Give direction to CNAs and scheduling staff to support efficient clinic flow and patient experience.
Collaborate with providers, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs to meet patient needs and improve outcomes.
Maintain current knowledge of state/federal licensure continuing education requirements and apply best practices.

Qualifications

Current State LPN license (required).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required).
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Comfort and experience with triage, taking vital signs, medication/prescription management, and prior authorizations.
Experience delegating tasks to CNAs and coordinating with schedulers and interdisciplinary teams.
Professional communication skills and ability to function as a patient-focused liaison.
