Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents at Pine Point Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Perform thorough documentation in the patient record to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote dignity and comfort
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Maine) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification encouraged
• Comfort working day shifts with rotating weekends in a long-term care setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Vital sign assessment and basic patient assessment skills
• Familiarity with long-term care resident needs and ADL support
• Effective communication with patients, families and clinical team
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
