Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at every shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor, assess, and document patient status, changes, and responses to care
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the care team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and documentation requirements
Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and professionalism

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina
Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Per diem availability and flexibility to work 12-plus hour shifts
Strong teamwork skills and a patient-centered approach
Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Safe medication administration and documentation practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
