Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Maintain meticulous documentation in the facility charting system
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and recovery with best-practice nursing interventions

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (must be in good standing)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to per diem assignments
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Successful background check and any facility-required onboarding clearances
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse: completed LPN program and current LPN license
• Registered Nurse: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN and current RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in patient assessment and clinical observation
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Basic wound care and vital signs monitoring
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
