Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate direct care to patients during the night shift
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care given
Support a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts and accept per diem assignments
Comfortable with night shift responsibilities and working independently
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patients
Ability to follow care plans and report changes to nursing staff
