Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following facility policies and nursing standards
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the medical record
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate safe, effective care
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort while promoting dignity and respect
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, timely documentation

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in North Carolina (RN accepted if applicable to the role)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical, long-term care, or related settings preferred
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and handle a fast-paced environment
• Up-to-date immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent (LPN diploma/certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs during long shifts
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient safety and quality care
