Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
Follow individualized care plans and document care accurately and promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean environment and support infection control practices
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself

Qualifications

Current GNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred; new grads welcome
Reliable, punctual, and patient-focused with strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Friendly, patient-centered communication and teamwork
Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Ability to follow care plans and accurately complete clinical documentation
