Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and optimize EPIC workflows to ensure clinicians have the tools they need
• Respond promptly to on-call issues during overnight and weekend coverage
• Participate in testing activities using DCI/BVP checklists and Prime Skills/Competency exams
• Troubleshoot system issues, document resolutions, and escalate when appropriate
• Collaborate with clinical teams to translate needs into practical EPIC solutions
• Maintain compliance with health screenings, immunizations, and required certifications

Qualifications

• EPIC experience is required — hands-on with Epic workflows and troubleshooting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Prior clinical or EPIC-related experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to work PM shifts, rotating weekends, nights, and graveyard/on-call assignments
• Completion of DCI/BVP Checklist and Prime Core Competencies/Skills Checklist as required
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, TB/PPD, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza, fit test, drug screen)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC systems and clinical application support
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under on-call conditions
• Experience with testing protocols and checklists (DCI/BVP, Prime testing)
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clinical and IT teams
• Attention to detail for documentation and compliance tasks
• Ability to prioritize tasks during overnight and high-pressure situations
