Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in on life-saving CVOR procedures across all patient populations from neonate to geriatric
Function independently within protocols to support seamless surgical teams
Execute unit tasks assigned by RNs with precision and care
Maintain patient confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and diplomacy

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience
BCLS Certification
National Certification (NCCT, AST, NBSTSA, CST, TS-C)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient scrub responsibilities for diverse patient ages
Competence in unit tasks and protocols
Strong computer and keyboarding skills
Tact, diplomacy, and patient-focused judgment
