Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality radiographic exams across all body parts for accurate diagnostics
Apply radiation protection principles with professional judgment
Maintain precise patient records and departmental quality assurance
Assist with invasive procedures and CT/interventional care
Pursue ongoing education and adapt to new imaging modalities
Support patient transfers and departmental hygiene
Collaborate with physicians and ensure top-notch patient care across all ages

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography certification
Clinical competency within 3 months of hire
Experience performing diagnostic exams in assigned modality
Ability to take call and respond within 20 minutes
Willingness to learn additional modalities like CT, MRI, Mammography

Education

ARRT certification in Radiography required; additional ARRT or ARDMS in CT, MR, MG, NM for advanced levels

Knowledge & Skills

Diagnostic medical radiography expertise
Radiation protection principles
Patient records maintenance
Quality assurance programs
Sterile technique and venipuncture goals
Tele-radiology transmission
Age-specific care from newborn to geriatric
