Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver quality radiologic procedures for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Practice radiation safety and ALARA standards while protecting patients
Perform QC checks and operate equipment per manufacturer guidelines
Educate patients, verify orders, and document medical histories
Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and supply inventory management
Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify Radiologist for STAT cases
Cross-train staff and rotate to other imaging modalities as required
Take call, work holidays, and fill in for team support with flexibility

Qualifications

ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and at least one additional modality like CT, MR, M, N, or S
ARDMS registration for sonography roles if applicable
Current BLS certification or obtainable within 90 days
2 years prior experience as a Technologist preferred
Able to pass background check, drug screen, and employee health requirements

Education

At least 16 years of age, legally able to work in the US

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of imaging procedures across multiple modalities
Radiation safety and ALARA standards
Patient care and education techniques
QC procedures and equipment operation
PACS, RIS/HIS, and Microsoft Office proficiency
Effective communication and independent judgment
