Location: San Bernardino, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 8:30 PM - 9:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans using Siemens and Toshiba equipment
Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures
Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate image archiving
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

Must hold a valid ARRT (CT) certification and CA CRT license
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Experience with Siemens and Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion CT scanners preferred
Cardiac CT experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT imaging techniques and anatomy
Strong patient care and communication skills
Knowledge of Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care setting
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Team player with a positive attitude
