Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and general diagnostic radiographic exams with technical skill and care
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and effectively, ensuring high-quality images
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform IV contrast injections per protocols
• Maintain patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications ready for procedures
• Apply radiation safety and quality assurance practices to protect patients and staff
• Follow Enloe Medical Center policies, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and support the department’s service excellence mission
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and care teams; use critical thinking to troubleshoot imaging challenges

Qualifications

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services (required)
• Approved CPR certification (required)
• ARRT registration (required or to be obtained as noted)
• State of California fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire (required)
• Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification (desired)
• Advanced CT certification (desired)
• Two years diagnostic x-ray experience (desired)
• One year CT experience (desired)

Education

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from the California Department of Health Services
• ARRT certification preferred; CPR certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging principles
• Strong patient care, positioning, and venipuncture/contrast administration skills
• Radiation protection, radiobiology, and radiation physics knowledge
• Proven ability with CT equipment operation and diagnostic radiography
• Quality assurance, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

Benefits

• Signing bonus: Up to $10,000
• Full-time position with pay scale up to $60.26/hr depending on role and experience
