Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and staff
• Document care accurately and promptly in patient records

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Valid state CNA documentation and ability to pass facility onboarding checks
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable working per diem shifts including full 12-hour day shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Compliance with facility immunization and TB screening policies

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and basic nursing assistant duties
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Reliable documentation and time management skills
• Teamwork and effective communication with multidisciplinary staff
