Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by taking vital signs, observing patients, and reporting changes
Help residents with personal needs like bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans to ensure consistent care
Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and coworkers
Communicate clearly with families and the care team to advocate for patient needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Certification or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania (preferred)
Basic life support/CPR certification preferred
Comfort working with diverse patient populations and varied care needs
Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and facility onboarding
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skills in personal care and assisting with activities of daily living
Familiarity with basic clinical observations: vital signs and patient reporting
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
Reliable documentation and time-management abilities
