Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Support infection control practices and follow facility protocols
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (state registry active)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a collaborative care team

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
