Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and mobility
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members
Communicate kindly and effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Assist nursing staff with treatments and procedures as directed to support excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or able to obtain)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and able to meet physical demands of the role
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic patient care tasks and ADLs
Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
Understanding of infection control best practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork mindset and the ability to follow clinical directions
