Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
• Document care and observations clearly and timely in the patient record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
• Active state CNA license or registration as required locally
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work per-diem shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent plus CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Proficient in taking vital signs and observing patient condition
• Understanding of infection control, safety, and patient privacy practices
• Comfortable with basic charting and documentation
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work with diverse populations
