Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care to acute care patients with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
Monitor and document patient status and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate patient records and follow facility charting protocols
Follow infection control, safety and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing (state certification required)
Comfortable working in an acute care environment; prior acute care experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass facility onboarding checks and background screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient care fundamentals and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with acute care workflows and patient safety protocols
Skill in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Ability to observe, document and escalate changes in patient condition
Basic charting and electronic documentation comfort
