Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility, transfer and positioning of residents
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and clinical staff

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight hours and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Skill in observation and timely reporting of clinical changes
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
