Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to the clinical team
• Document care accurately and timely in the designated charting system
• Support mealtime assistance and feeding when needed, including safe meal practices
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable with overnight/night shift responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Basic infection control and safety awareness
• Good observation skills to notice changes in resident condition
• Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
