Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors, and changes in condition
• Communicate observations clearly with the nursing team and families
• Support safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for residents
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico preferred or eligible to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
• Clear background check and required health screenings
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident-centered care and dignity-focused assistance
• Comfortable taking and documenting basic vital signs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
