Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and maintain clear patient records
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or able to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a heart for patient-centered care
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible per diem schedules

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care routines
• Infection control and hygiene best practices
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
