Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living
Support patient mobility and safe transfers, always prioritizing dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs accurately to keep the care team informed
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control standards
Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, respectful atmosphere for residents

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with compassion
Basic clinical skills: taking vital signs, documenting observations
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Familiarity with charting and electronic health records (EHR) preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a team
