Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Support patient mobility and transfers with safety-first techniques
Monitor patients closely and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
Document care and observations accurately and promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and facility staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or eligible) — Maine certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
High school diploma or equivalent
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
Prior CNA experience is a plus but enthusiastic, reliable newcomers are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care techniques and infection control practices
Basic vital signs and observation skills with attention to detail
Clear, respectful communication with patients, families, and team members
Ability to follow care plans and document in clinical records accurately
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
