Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (variable days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening/day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a trusted Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and maintain fall-prevention practices
Document care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Maintain infection control standards and a clean, respectful environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Active authorization to work in New Jersey and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Comfortable working evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and flexible per diem scheduling
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic infection control and safety practices
Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
Basic charting and documentation; willingness to learn facility systems
