Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift; days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and communicate resident needs to clinicians
Help create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kind, consistent interactions

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active or eligible for state CNA registration in North Carolina
Comfortable performing basic patient care tasks and documentation
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliability, compassion, and a commitment to resident safety and dignity

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of personal care and infection prevention
Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Accurate charting and clear communication with clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
