Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Assist nursing team with activities of daily living and safe patient transfers
• Monitor and record vital signs and report clinical changes to the RN or supervisor
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clear, timely records
• Communicate warmly and professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• T-CNA and Travel CNA experience or credentials are a strong plus
• Active CNA license or ability to obtain/transfer license for New Mexico assignment
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and collaborating in a fast-paced rehab setting
• Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Infection prevention and facility safety standards
• Clear documentation and basic charting practices
• Teamwork, empathy, and effective communication with patients and staff
