Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), schedule varies, 6:30 PM - 6:30 PM Night

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Support patients with dignity and respect, promoting comfort and independence

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Current state CNA listing/registration as required by New Mexico
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working evening/night hours and adaptable to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Must meet facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations as required)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection control best practices
Clear, respectful communication with patients, families, and care teams
Documentation and electronic charting basics
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
