Location: Santa Maria, California

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with call coverage from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays and every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab and IR procedures with precision and care
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and device implantations
Support electrophysiology studies and ablations in the EP lab
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP suites to provide comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Xper systems
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to deliver life-saving interventions

Qualifications

RCIS or ARRT certification required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience
EP lab experience preferred for travelers
Travel experience is a plus
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cath Lab and IR procedures including venous access, port placements, and device implants
Strong understanding of cardiac and peripheral interventions
Experience with Cerner and Xper documentation systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Comfortable floating between multiple specialty labs
