Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 09-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with on-call coverage 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM weekdays, weekends, and holidays; minimum 10 weeknight call shifts and 2 weekend call shifts per contract

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform intra-procedural circulating duties to ensure seamless patient care during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
Administer supplies and medications accurately while monitoring patient sedation levels
Float between three campuses to support emergent cases and provide comprehensive coverage
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to deliver life-saving interventions
Collaborate with cardiologists and the care team to manage STEMI activations and stabilize critical patients using IABP support

Qualifications

RCIS certification required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 3 years of hospital-based Cardiac Cath/IR experience
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Willingness to float daily and participate in on-call rotations across multiple campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Siemens equipment and EPIC/Apollo cardiac charting systems
Strong understanding of compression fractures, venous access, chest pain, PE, DVT, and other common IR/cardiac diagnoses
Comfortable managing emergent cases including STEMIs and IABP stabilization
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced lab environments
