Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providing continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning and calibrated
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials for efficient workflow
• Continuously assess and document patient condition, maintaining thorough records
• Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac procedures and critical care nursing
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data accurately
• Proficient in sterile technique and procedural room preparation
