Shift Type: Night, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight shift; specific days to be scheduled / confirmed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa De Oro Center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely charting in the EMR
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate residents and families about care plans and promote resident dignity
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (or eligible to obtain)
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Previous experience as an LPN in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Resident assessment, vital signs and basic clinical procedures
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely charting
Infection prevention, safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Prioritization skills for busy overnight shifts
