Shift Type: Night shift, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (days not specified)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status, report changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Document patient care and chart clearly in the electronic health record
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to implement care plans
Support resident safety through regular rounding and fall-prevention practices
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge preparations as needed
Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of quality care

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) — active and in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — current
Comfortable with medication administration, assessments, and documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a night team
Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a strong plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient observation skills
Medication administration and safe nursing practice
Familiarity with wound care and chronic condition management
Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate charting
Critical thinking, prioritization, and time management during busy shifts
Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork
