Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care on each shift
• Perform medication administration and accurate documentation in the EHR
• Conduct routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Support rehabilitation plans and assist with activities of daily living
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance at all times

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and the scheduled weekend pattern
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• For RN candidates: Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and resident assessments
• Comfortable with wound care, IV checks, and rehab support as applicable
• Proficient with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Excellent time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
